Virtual Assessments
During a virtual Home Energy Assessment, you’ll video chat with a CPS Energy advisor using your smartphone as they conduct a virtual walk-through of your home. Sign up for a pre-assessment call where your advisor will help you prepare for the virtual assessment, and set a date for the virtual visit. Apartment complexes do not qualify. You must be a current CPS residential customer. An adult 18 years of age or older must be present at the home to video chat with the Home Energy Advisor. You will be contacted prior to the assessment to prepare. Receive a personalized report and Free energy savings products by mail following the appointment.
Here's what's included:
- During the virtual assessment, you will receive professional advice from a CPS Energy advisor. They'll help you find areas of your home that are wasting energy and ways to stay comfortable year round.
- Free energy-saving products, such as LED bulbs and smart power strips (up to $125 value)* mailed to you after your virtual appointment, based on the outcome of your assessment.
- A personalized report with energy-saving recommendations that can save you up to 20% on electric costs annually.
- Special heating & cooling equipment and weatherization rebates through a participating contractor for qualifying recommended improvements. (Up to $435 in rebates for home with central AC and non-electric heating.)*

- You must be a CPS Energy residential Account Holder within the CPS Energy service area. A residential structure is defined as a single-family home, up to a fourplex. Apartment complexes do not qualify.
- Limited supply per household and where applicable. Certain restrictions apply. One Energy Assessment per residence per 5-year period. This program is subject to change, including termination, without prior notice. Appointments are available Monday–Friday. Limited number of appointments available on Saturdays.
